Less than 1 minute Reading Time: Minutes

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented the enforced disappearance of Sudanese doctor and humanitarian activist Malik Al-Amin Abdullah Malik at the hands of forces affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. He was arrested from his workplace in the village of “Um Siyala” in North Kordofan state, last Friday, March 14, 2025. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day.

Dr. Malik worked as a physician in a local health unit, providing essential medical services to residents in an area suffering from worsening humanitarian conditions due to ongoing war and the collapse of infrastructure and basic services, particularly in the healthcare sector.

The CFJ condemns the violations committed against Dr. Malik and demands that those responsible within the RSF militia clarify his fate and location immediately, and release him forthwith without any conditions. The committee holds the militia fully responsible for his physical and mental well-being.
