The LG is a coalition of organisations whose collective aim is to work towards a functional and effective communications procedure before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) by working towards:

• Ensuring transparency about the way the ACHPR works.
• Ensuring access to information regarding the communications procedure of the ACHPR.
• Ensuring timely finalisation of communications.
• Ensuring consistency in the jurisprudence of the ACHPR.
