Sudan: RSF arrest “Rufa’a” tribe sheikh in “Dinder” for refusing to cooperate, CFJ demands his release

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has reported that forces affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces militia arrested the Sheikh (chief) of the “Rufa’a” tribe in the city of “Dinder” in Sennar State on Saturday, August 17th, for his refusal to cooperate with them.

CFJ stated that the Sheikh (chief) of the “Rufa’a” tribe, Malik Abu Rof, is well-known for his humanitarian and relief work in the area.

CFJ holds the Rapid Support Forces militia responsible for the safety and well-being of “Abu Rof” and demands his immediate and unconditional release.
