Press Release

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented violations and killings of civilians by forces affiliated with the “Rapid Support Forces” militia in the “Al-Tiboun” area of White Nile State, Sudan.

According to the committee, the “Rapid Support Forces” killed Al-Hadi Kharshi, a relief activist and respected local figure, and executed his son, Khalid, by shooting him.

The attack also triggered mass displacement of civilians to neighboring villages, as dozens were killed and injured in the assault carried out by the militia, led by commander Mohamed Ismail.

CFJ strongly condemns these violations and extrajudicial killings by the “Rapid Support Forces” under the leadership of Mohamed Ismail and others. The committee calls for international investigations into these crimes, accountability for those involved, and measures to prevent impunity.

Furthermore, CFJ urges both sides of the conflict in Sudan to protect civilians from the horrors of war and ensure a safe environment for humanitarian workers to carry out their duties without risk.
