The Military Intelligence arrested Dr. Othman Bashir Khalafallah, a general practitioner specializing in internal medicine and an activist in the humanitarian and relief field, on Tuesday, July 16.

CFJ condemns the continued detention of Dr. Khalafallah and calls for clarification of his status and his immediate, unconditional release. CFJ holds the Military Intelligence of the Sudanese Army responsible for his safety.
