The “Committee for Justice” (CFJ) has documented the arrest of Abdullah Mohammed Hassan, a teacher and supporter of students’ educational rights, by forces affiliated with the “Rapid Support Forces” militia.

According to sources, Hassan was taken from his home in the Al-Deem Al-Sharqiya neighborhood (Deem Al-Qana) to an undisclosed location amidst ongoing attacks targeting defenders of education and human rights.

CFJ condemns the incident, describing it as a flagrant violation of human rights and the values that promote the protection of education and its defenders. The committee calls for Hassan’s immediate release and an end to the targeting of human rights defenders. The committee holds the Rapid Support Forces responsible for his safety and urges both local and international communities to act to curb these violations and ensure the safety of rights activists.
