The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has monitored the killing of humanitarian activist and pharmacist Dr. Ezz Eldin Mustafa Haj Ahmed, who was assassinated by the Rapid Support Forces militia in the village of “Wad Gudat” in Al-Jazeera State.

CFJ expresses strong condemnation of this incident, which highlights a deliberate strategy by the Rapid Support Forces to target medical and humanitarian personnel, thereby obstructing their ability to perform humanitarian duties.

CFJ calls for impartial, swift, and transparent investigations into the incident, emphasizing the necessity of identifying those responsible for this heinous crime and ensuring they face justice. The committee stresses that legal accountability must be firmly enforced to prevent the recurrence of such atrocities.

Additionally, CFJ urges all parties to the conflict in Sudan to fully cooperate in achieving justice and to enhance protection for civilians and activists working in humanitarian and relief efforts.
