Less than 1 minute Reading Time: Minutes

The “Committee for Justice” (CFJ) has documented the arrest and torture of radiology specialist at Al-Tamayoz Hospital and humanitarian activist Ihab Abdel Wahab Al-Tom by individuals from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Khartoum.

According to a recorded video in which Al-Tom appeared, he showed visible “exhaustion and signs of torture and beating,” indicating that he had been subjected to mistreatment during his detention.

CFJ holds the RSF in Khartoum responsible for ensuring Al-Tom’s safety and demands his immediate and unconditional release. The committee also calls for impartial and transparent investigations into the incidents of torture, the identification of those responsible, and ensuring they do not escape accountability.
