The “Committee for Justice” (CFJ) has documented the killing of doctor and humanitarian activist Adam Abdullah Yahya in Nyala, South Darfur, by individuals affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). He was abducted from his home and accused of belonging to the Sudanese army.
Dr. Yahya was an active humanitarian worker who continued to provide medical services to patients despite being in areas under RSF control. Reports confirm that his body was found dumped outside the city of Nyala after he was killed.
CFJ condemns the killing of Dr. Yahya and calls for an investigation into the incident, the identification of those responsible, and ensuring they do not escape accountability.
