Less than 1 minute Reading Time: Minutes

The “Committee for Justice” (CFJ) has reported the killing of Dr. Muawiya Mohamed Ahmed Daqash, a member of the Radiology Department at Khartoum Teaching Hospital and a medical relief activist, by forces affiliated with the Rapid Support Militia.

Daqash was a relief activist in the Arkaweet Block 61 area in Khartoum and remained there throughout the war. He had been arrested several times by the “Rapid Support Forces” before ultimately being executed without any clear justification.

CFJ condemns this incident, classifying it as a “war crime” since it was an extrajudicial execution. The committee demands an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, accountability for those responsible, and measures to prevent their impunity, stressing the importance of ensuring fair justice for Daqash’s family.
