The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has monitored the execution of a doctor and humanitarian activist by forces affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in West Al-Duwaym, White Nile State, Sudan, on Monday, July 15th.
Monitoring committees within the organization reported that Dr. Anas Abdullah Al-Quray was shot and killed by RSF forces who stormed the Al-Hilba Hospital in West Al-Duwaym.
CFJ condemns the killing of Dr. Al-Quray during the RSF’s assault on Al-Hilba Hospital and calls for an impartial and swift investigation into the circumstances surrounding the raid and the killing. CFJ also urges all parties involved in the Sudanese conflict to cease targeting medical facilities and personnel.
