Sudan: CFJ Reports the Killing of Relief Activist Fadl Al-Mawla Hamida by RSF in Al-Jabalain Locality and Calls for an Investigation

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has monitored the killing of young relief activist Fadl Al-Mawla Ahmed Hamida by forces affiliated with the Rapid Support Militia, which attacked the village of Al-Hassaniya Wad Al-Bala’ in northern Al-Jabalain locality on the afternoon of February 26.

According to CFJ, the attack also resulted in the injury of two other young men from the village, marking another incident in a series of assaults targeting civilians in the area.

CFJ strongly condemns this attack and calls for an urgent and comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and prosecute those responsible to prevent impunity. The committee also stresses the urgent need to take immediate measures to enhance security and protect civilians from further targeting.
