The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has reported the death of aid worker Walid Abdullah Tayfour, allegedly killed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during an attack on the village of “Abu Jalfa” in the Rufaa countryside in Sudan on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Tayfour was a well-known figure in humanitarian work and a respected human rights advocate in his region.
CFJ condemns the incident, calling on authorities to launch a neutral, prompt, and transparent investigation into the circumstances to identify those responsible and ensure they are held accountable.
