These updates are published via its political agenda for legal cases, which was launched to facilitate access to hearing dates and recent developments regarding human rights cases in a simplified format that is easy to follow, for the period from July 19 to July 24, 2025, as follows:
1- Case Name: Al-Behira Cell
- Date of Session: July 19, 2025

- Details: The First Circuit of the First Instance Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Mohamed Said Al-Sharbin, decided to postpone the trial of 21 defendants in the cell known in the media as “Al-Behira Cell,” which is part of Case No. 8666 of 2024 Criminal – Second October Police Station, to the session on September 20; for closing arguments.
2- Case Name: Espionage with Turkey

- Details: The Emergency State Security Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Mohamed Said Al-Sharbin, decided to extend the deadline for delivering the verdict against the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood group, Sayyid Mahmoud Ezzat Ibrahim, and 80 others from the Muslim Brotherhood leadership, in Case No. 955 of 2017 Criminal – State Security Higher, known in the media as “Espionage with Turkey,” among whom 35 were present and 46 in absentia, including women, to the session on October 20.

13- Case Name: Abdeen Violence Incidents

- Details: The First Circuit of the Cairo Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Mohamed Said Al-Sharbin, today decided to postpone the retrial procedures of the first defendant in Case No. 699 of 2015 Criminal – Abdeen Police Station, known in the media as “Abdeen Riot Incidents,” to the session on September 22; for bringing the defendant from his detention place. It should be noted that the defendant whose trial procedures are being retried is Abdel Rahman Osama Hassan Mustafa, the first defendant in the referral decision against whom an in absentia verdict was issued on April 3, 2017, sentencing him to five years of hard labor for charges of possession of explosives, demonstrating, and displaying force.
