The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented the death of aid activist and coordinator of the “Bari Abu Hashish Kitchen” in eastern Khartoum, Sudan, Al-Tijani Adam Al-Tahir, who died in the detention centers of the Rapid Support Forces along with his brother, Al-Nour Adam Al-Tahir.

Local Sudanese sources explained that the victim had been detained since September 2024 and passed away inside one of the Rapid Support Forces’ detention centers in Khartoum in February 2025, with the news of his death alongside his brother confirmed later.

The CFJ condemns this crime and calls for an independent and transparent investigation to determine those responsible for this crime, ensure their accountability, and prevent their impunity.
