Sudan: CFJ Reports Arrest and Disappearance of Humanitarian Activist Musa Babker by RSF in Al-Jazirah State

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented the arrest and disappearance of humanitarian activist Musa Babker by forces affiliated with the “Rapid Support Forces” militia. Babker is renowned for his vital work in assisting the residents of Al-Jazirah State, including providing essential supplies such as food and medicine.

According to the committee, the militia arrested Babker on the evening of Wednesday, December 11, 2024, without providing any justification or clear reason. He was subsequently taken to an undisclosed location.

CFJ strongly condemns this act, describing it as a flagrant violation of human rights. The committee calls for the immediate disclosure of Musa Babker’s whereabouts and his prompt release without delay.
