As part of its continuous monitoring of the legal situation related to major human rights cases in Egypt, the Committee for Justice (CFJ) issues its weekly bulletin on updates of the most important cases. These are published within its Political Trials Calendar, created to facilitate the search for court session dates and recent developments in a simplified, accessible manner.
This bulletin covers the period from September 13 to September 18, 2025, and includes the following cases:
Case 1: Trial of Brotherhood Leader Yehia Moussa and 38 Others
- Date: September 13, 2025

- Proceedings: The second terrorism circuit of the first degree criminal court postponed the trial of Brotherhood leader Yehia Moussa and 38 other defendants in Case No. 15072/2024 (Fifth Settlement criminal court), to November 10, 2025, to hear witness testimony.
Case 2: Trial of 35 Defendants from Terrorist Group Leadership in Haram

- Proceedings: The second terrorism circuit of the first degree criminal court postponed the trial of 35 defendants in Case No. 66158/2024 (Haram criminal court) to October 25, 2025, to hear witnesses.
Case 3: Joining a Terrorist Group in Omraniya

- Proceedings: The appeals circuit reserved for judgment the appeal filed by defendant Sohaib Alaa El-Din Abdel-Monem (30, graphic designer) against the first degree sentence of 3 years’ imprisonment for joining a terrorist group in Case No. 10832/2023 (Omraniya felonies), setting October 13, 2025 for pronouncement of judgment.
Case 4: ISIS Delta Province

- Proceedings: The second first-degree criminal court reserved for judgment the trial of 9 high-risk defendants in Case No. 379/2024 (Supreme State Security), registered as No. 13552/2024 (Helwan criminal court), known in the media as “ISIS Delta Province.” The court set October 29, 2025 for pronouncement of judgment.
Case 5: Kerdasa Explosives Cell

- Proceedings: The second first-degree criminal court postponed the trial of 13 defendants in Case No. 16563/2023 (Kerdasa felonies), registered as No. 2529/2023 (Supreme State Security), known in the media as “Kerdasa Explosives Cell,” to November 26, 2025 for the Public Prosecution’s pleadings.
Case 6: Hadayek Cell – “Nucleus of the Revolution”

- Proceedings: The appeals circuit presided over by Judge Hamada El-Sawy reserved for judgment the appeal filed by four defendants in Case No. 5314/2023 (Hadayek El-Qubba), registered as No. 41/2023 (Supreme State Security), known as “Nucleus of the Revolution,” setting October 14, 2025 for pronouncement of judgment.
Case 7: Revolutionary Guards

- Proceedings: The appeals court postponed the appeal lodged by nine defendants convicted of assuming leadership and membership in a terrorist group known in the media as “Revolutionary Guards,” to October 12, 2025 to continue pleadings.

Case 10: Alf Maskan Demonstrations
