The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented the killing of doctor and aid activist Hanadi Al-Nour Dawood, who was martyred in an attack on the Zamzam IDP camp near the city of El Fasher.
According to the “Coordination of Resistance Committees” in El Fasher, the doctor was killed during the attack carried out by the “Rapid Support Forces” on the camp on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
The CFJ strongly condemns this incident and calls for an immediate and independent investigation to ensure accountability and prevent impunity, emphasizing the necessity of bringing those responsible for this crime to justice.
The CFJ also urges all warring parties in Sudan to spare civilians, medical personnel, and healthcare facilities from the horrors of conflict, stressing the importance of respecting international humanitarian laws that mandate the protection of these groups and vital infrastructure.
