As part of its continuous monitoring of the legal situation related to major human rights cases in Egypt, the Committee for Justice (CFJ) issues its weekly bulletin on updates of the most important cases. These are published within its Political Trials Calendar, created to facilitate the search for court session dates and recent developments in a simplified, accessible manner.
This bulletin covers the period from August 2 until August 14, 2025, and includes the following cases:

Case: Revolutionary Guards
- Date of Session: August 2, 2025
- Location: Badr Courthouse Complex
- Proceedings: The Criminal Court (first degree) decided to reserve the retrial of Abdel Hamid Maher Abdel Hamid, accused of assuming leadership of a terrorist group known in the media as the “Revolutionary Guards,” for the session on November 15 to pronounce judgment.
