Le Comit\u00e9 pour la Justice (Committee for Justice – CFJ) suit de pr\u00e8s la d\u00e9marche engag\u00e9e par les principales organisations syndicales ind\u00e9pendantes en Alg\u00e9rie (COSYFOP, SNAPAP, SNATEG, SNSI), qui ont d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le 20 janvier 2026 une communication formelle aupr\u00e8s du Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT). Cette action fait suite aux d\u00e9clarations publiques du directeur du bureau de l’OIT \u00e0 Alger, M. Halim Hamzaoui, jug\u00e9es en totale d\u00e9connexion avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des libert\u00e9s syndicales dans le pays.<\/p>\n

Le Comit\u00e9 souligne que ces d\u00e9clarations contredisent de mani\u00e8re flagrante les recommandations des organes de contr\u00f4le de l’OIT ainsi que les observations des m\u00e9canismes onusiens. CFJ s’inqui\u00e8te du fait que ces propos, largement relay\u00e9s par les m\u00e9dias officiels, interviennent au moment o\u00f9 une mobilisation internationale – incluant des Rapporteurs sp\u00e9ciaux de l’ONU – s’intensifie pour r\u00e9clamer la lib\u00e9ration du leader syndical Ali Mammeri.<\/p>\n

Mammeri reste d\u00e9tenu sur la base de chefs d’inculpation li\u00e9s au terrorisme et purge une peine de quinze ans de prison \u00e0 Oum El Bouaghi, o\u00f9 il subit des pressions persistantes. Le Comit\u00e9 craint que de telles d\u00e9clarations d’un haut fonctionnaire international ne soient interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es par les autorit\u00e9s alg\u00e9riennes comme un \u00ab\u00a0feu vert\u00a0\u00bb pour poursuivre leur politique hostile envers le syndicalisme ind\u00e9pendant et maintenir la d\u00e9tention arbitraire de M. Mammeri.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Le Comit\u00e9 pour la Justice (CFJ) joint sa voix \u00e0 celle des syndicats pour exiger du Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’OIT des explications imm\u00e9diates.
