This followed the release of a video clip broadcasted via social media and “YouTube” in 2014 titled “Helwan Brigades: We are tired of the Muslim Brotherhood’s peacefulness”. In the video\, a group of young men were shown brandishing firearms\, threatening army and police forces\, warning them against ongoing brutality and claiming they were all targets. The video ends with the chant “No peace with the interior ministry”. \nFollowing this\, police forces arrested around one hundred and fifty suspects starting from June 2014. The defendants in the case faced various charges\, and they were accused of several terrorist incidents which were incorporated into the case.
